Family Trusts & Generation Skipping Trusts

Fred Pellegrini will help you set up and manage your family trusts, generation skipping trust or family living trust.

There a many types of family trusts, but family trusts usually refer to trusts that have been set up with the option to include a surviving spouse and then distribute said assets.

Family trusts are also commonly referred to as a generation skipping trust or testamentary. It is designed to exist for more than one generation into the future, thereby qualifying for the generation skipping tax exemption.

They’re also known as a sprinkling trust. Under a sprinkling trust, no beneficiary has a right to receive any trust income. Instead, the trustee has discretion to divide the trust as he or she sees fit within a designated group of people.
